Agathaumas (meaning "Great Wonder") is a genus of ceratopsian dinosaur from Late Cretaceous Wyoming. It might be a synonom for Triceratops, but because of incomplete fossil findings it can not be reffered as a synonom for Triceratops. It is known very poorly. It was descovered in 1872 by Edward Drinker Cope, during the Bone Wars. It was the first ceratopsian known to science
