Arkansaurus

"Arkansaurus" is the name given to a coelurosaurian dinosaur from Arkansas. The type species (A. fridayi) is name after the state it was found in and its discoverer J. B. Friday, from finding the fossilized foot on his farm in the year 1972. It was the first fossil found in Arkansas.
