Cool Dino Facts Wiki

Deinosuchus (meaning "terrible crocodile") was a giant crocodilian related to the alligators. It lived during the late Cretaceous period 73-80 million years ago.

Deinosuchus was 10 m (33 ft) long and weighing up to 8 tons (9.4 short tons). It looked like similar to its smaller relatives.

Deinosuchus was probably able to kill and eat large dinosaurs. It may have also fed upon sea turtles, fish, and other aquatic and terrestrial prey.
