Othnielosaurus ("Othniel's lizard") was a hypsilophodont dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period of North America.It was previously under the names Laosaurus,Nanosaurus and Othnielia. It lived in the redwood forests of the Morrison Formation in Colorado. It lived about 155-148 million years ago in the Late Jurassic and it was named in honor of the famous paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh in 1878.
