The name Rugops means "First Wrinkled Face". It was a born scavenger from Mid-Late Cretaceous of Niger. Its 9 meter long body is heavy build. It was classified as a Abelisauridae. It was described in 2004 by Sereno, Wison, and Conrad. Being a scavenger from Niger it scavenged off Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.
