Godinotia was a small lemur-like primate that lived during the early Eocene epoch of the Paleogene period about 49 million years ago in Germany.
Excluding the tail Godinotia was only 30 cm long. Like all the earliest primates, Godinotia lived up in the trees, where food was plentiful and there were few large predators. It ate insects and fruit.
