Muttaburrasaurus is a herbivorous ornithopod dinosaur related to Camptosaurus and Iguanodon, from what is now northeastern Australia between 100 and 98 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous Period.Afrter Minmi, it is Australia's most completely known dinosaur from skeletal remains.It's name means "Muttaburra's Lizard" from the location from it's discovery.The species was initially described from a partial skeleton found by Doug Langdon 1963 in Muttaburra, Queensland, Australia, which also names the creature.It was named in 1981 by Dr Alan Barthomomai and Ralph Molnar, who described it as a dinosaur with a sack on it's head to make trumpet noises.
