Rhamphorhynchus (meaning "Beak Snout") was rhamphorhynch pterosaur which lived during the late Jurassic, along with many other pterosaurs. With plenty of specimens found in Europe and Africa, it is one of the best known pterosaurs. The best fossils were found in Germany, which include complete fossils, but they also show placement and texture of the wings. Rhamphorhynchus had sharp, needle like teeth, which were ideal for catching fish.
