The name Shantungosaurus means "Shantung's Lizard". It ate the leaves and twigs of Late Cretaceous China. It has about three classifications, which include Hadrosauridae, Saurolophinae, and Edmontosaurini. It was 15-16 metres in length, which is 49-56 feet. It was described in 1973 by Hu.
