Spinosaurus (meaning "Spined lizard") is a genus of theropodia spinosauridae
dinosaur. It had a 6 foot tall sail on its back, possibly to mate or to cool off. Spinosaurus lived in the middle and late Cretaceous in Africa and South America, living alongside Carcharodontosaurus. It ate fish and meat. It usually ate Onchopristis and Ouranosaurus. Spinosaurus was 30 feet tall 60 feet long and weighs 13 tonnes.
