A pack of Valdoraptor attacking a Polacanthus
Valdoraptor (meaning "Wealden Theif") is a genus of theropod from Early Cretaceous England. It was first taged as Hylaeosaurus by Richard Owen, then as Megalosaurus Dunkeri by Richard Lydekker, then as Megalosaurus Oweni by Richard Lydekker, then as Altispinax Oweni by Friedrich von Huene, then, finally, as Valdoraptor Oweni by George Olshevsky. Valdoraptor is known from only feet bones, which that caused this mix-up in names.
